A Minor in Russian Studies
A Minor in Russian Studies includes RUSS 2201/2202, RUSS 3050, RUSS 3201/3202, RUSS 3203.  Total hours required for a Minor in Russian Studies are 18-24. Students pursuing a Russian Minor are encouraged to participate in the Study abroad program.  With Department permission, native Russian speakers may be waived from some language courses.

The Russian Club «Русский клуб «Дружба» at UNCC
The Club «Дружба» sponsors various activities throughout the year such as dinner and a movie nights when members and guests prepare and enjoy authentic Russian food and watch Russian films; performances of Russian plays or presentations by native Russian speakers, etc.

Why study Russian?

Whether one's interests are in science, international studies, literature and culture, business or simply language itself, the study of Russian provides both practical usefulness and attaining skills that not many possess.
