Forbes published an article showing the best (and the worst) states for high tech jobs in the U.S. California, not surprisingly, takes the first place. North Carolina, however, is not too far behind, taking the fifth place.
After California, the best high tech job market is in Florida, Texas, Virginia and North Carolina. Research Triangle - Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill - contributed heavily toward such high ranking of North Carolina.
The worst states for high tech jobs are Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Georgia and Connecticut.
