The healthiest state in the U.S. is Minnesota, according to the latest study. North Carolina is ranked 15th if you count from the bottom of the list.

Researches, mostly scientists, used a number of objective parameters in judging the general health of the population.

United Health Foundation published the results of their study presented as a rating of states' health:

- Hawaii;
- Connecticut;
- Utah;
- Massachusets;
- North Dakota;
- Main;
- Wisconsin;
- Mississippi;
- South Carolina;
- Tennessee;
- Arkansas;
- Alabama;
- Oklahoma;
- West Virginia;
- Georgia;
- Florida.
